Background

Senior Debating is open to all the seniors.  We participate in several competitions including the Prem B for our experienced debaters and Senior Certificate for our aspiring and talented debaters.  

The highlight of the year is the Onslow/Newlands debate which is organised by the Johnsonville Lions.  Prem B teams from each school compete for the Lions Cup.  

Debating is ideal for those who want to develop their critical thinking skills and general knowledge.  It is a life skill which you can develop further at university and make some good friends along the way.
