The Kamar App for Android and iPhone can be downloaded from the Google Play store or the iTunes store.

This application allows both students and caregivers to monitor attendance, academic progress, check notices, timetables and a range of other student data. This same information can also be viewed via the parent portal.

To access the kamar app, first download it from the Google Play store or the iTunes store.

Once it is installed on your phone, you will need to set up the account for each child you have at Newlands College. First click on the settings button.

In the settings section, click on the + button.

Under name you will need to put the name of the child.

In Portal Address you will need parents.newlands.school.nz

in uername and password, you will need the username and password of your child. This will have been sent to you via email. 

Click on the save button.

Repeat this process for each child you have at the college. You can also add children who are at other schools if they use the Kamar app.
