Newlands College is a school where our learners are provided with nurturing, support and guidance to become confident in themselves, creative in their thinking and most importantly connected to their school and their community. 

I am humbled to return to Newlands as Tumuaki and very excited about the future of education in this school with world-class teachers, dedicated learners and vibrant opportunities across all aspects of schooling. Whether it be in sport, the arts, through cultural leadership or community service, we provide outstanding opportunities for learners to thrive and succeed.

As a Principal, manaakitanga is at the heart of Newlands College and our commitment to growing our understanding of Te Ao Māori across the school is an essential aspect of our learning. Our school reflects the diversity of Aotearoa and prepares young people for success as lifelong learners - they leave with outstanding academic results having learnt the importance of hard work, integrity, respect for themselves and others, and the importance of contributing to their communities and the world around them.
